Mallika Hospitals is proud to introduce one of India’s advanced Open Standing MRI systems – the G-Scan by Esaote (Italy). Designed especially for patient comfort, this innovative MRI allows scans to be performed in an open, non-claustrophobic environment, unlike conventional closed MRI machines.
The system features a tilting table, enabling imaging in multiple body postures, including standing, sitting, and flexed positions. It is highly advanced for musculoskeletal imaging, allowing scans of the spine and joints while they are weight-bearing, closely reflecting real-life conditions.
Many spinal and joint conditions change significantly between lying down and standing positions. Imaging the spine in its natural, weight-bearing posture provides more accurate insights into these biomechanical changes, leading to improved diagnosis and treatment planning.
The Open Standing MRI also includes Real-Time MR technology, which displays live images during positioning, ensuring faster scans and enhanced diagnostic precision. With the G-Scan, Mallika Hospitals continues to elevate diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
